- The ability to generate computerized target models using an
automatic Target Model Generator (TMG) is probably the most revolutionary
aspect of MEVA-GF. TMG allows a user to designate the target type,
consistent with DoD-accepted generics described in the Joint Munition
Effectiveness Manuals (JMEMs), from a list of choices and physical
vulnerability characteristics; specify a set of external dimensions and the
number of stories; and automatically generate a realistic computer target
model in a matter of seconds.
- A large number of users expressed an interest in utilizing
the architecture to establish the ability of existing weapon systems to
defeat real-world targets.
- Color-coded, damaged target graphics provided by MEVA-GF
clearly illustrate the extent of structural and equipment damage expected
from an attack.
