National Association of Home Builders
- Especially for Builders - The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) is a federation of
more than 800 state and local builders associations throughout the United States. The
mission of this Washington, D.C.-based trade association is to enhance the climate for
housing and the building industry, and to promote policies that will keep housing a
national priority. Chief among NAHBs goals is providing and expanding opportunities
for all consumers to have safe, decent and affordable housing.

- Computer use still more prominent with large firms - The ABS reports that 51 per cent of
residential construction companies in Australia use computers. Not surprisingly, the
larger organisations are more inclined to use this technology; in fact 78 per cent of
those employing five or more people use computers in the running of their businesses.
This compares to 44 per cent of companies employing less than five people.
