Texas : GSC Year 2000 Facilities Infrastructure

The Texas General Services Commission is chairing the Year 2000 Facilities Infrastructure Work Group (Y2KFIWG) at the request of the state Year 2000 Work Group committee. Members of the Y2KFIWG are facilities personnel from state agencies, colleges, universities, other governmental entities and the private sector.
The first goal of this group is to identify the problems and remedies needed to fix the Y2K problems. Participants are compiling an inventory of products and manufacturers of equipment used for environmental controls, chillers, fire alarms, elevators, valves, security systems, etc.. This list will then be used to obtain information as to the products Y2K compliance, known defects and available remedies. GSC Year 2000 Facilities Priority List
